Texas Cabin Rental

For your Texas cabin rental fix, may we present the 1901 Cabin. Built in 1901 in Shelby County, it was numbered, disassembled, moved and reconstructed here. This rustic cabin has ample sleeping capability; a queen sized bed in the upstairs loft and downstairs you’ll find twin trundle beds that can accommodate two, or can make a split king bed.

With a candlelit fireplace, full kitchen, and cozy dining room, you can set up camp here for an extended stay. It also has front and back porches, and the rear porch has a panoramic view of the Angelina River. With plenty of outdoor seating, two grills, and a fire pit, this is one of our favorite spots to watch the sunset. 

Fair warning – wifi inside the 1901 Cabin is just like the old days … before there was wifi!  There’s good reception on the porches, but the limited service inside is a perfect excuse to unplug and unwind, so make plans to trade your screen time for stargazing and s’mores.  If wifi is a must, service is great at the main house.
