Can you believe we’re nearly through October already? Oh my word, we’re already making our Thanksgiving plans! Of course, Chuck’s birthday is always the week of Thanksgiving so it’s a doubly busy week for us.

Annual Rayburn Country Scarecrow Fest & Chili Cook-Off

Kirbyville’s Spirit of Christmas Fun Run and Festival
When: Sunday November 13, 2022
What: Benefit run, proceeds from the fun run will be used to help spread the spirit of Christmas to those in need within the KHS district.

Jasper’s Annual Courthouse Lighting
When: Saturday November 19, 2022
What: Lighting up the courthouse for Christmas
Where: Downtown Square, Jasper Courthouse
Details: Join us for the annual lighting of our beautiful courthouse! You don’t want to miss it, our downtown square is the most beautiful this time of year.
Jasper’s Christmas in the Park
When: Saturday November 26, 2022
What: “Christmas in the Park” starts at Sandy Creek Park! This is an annual event with food, arts and crafts and even Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there !! Here’s the lineup for the day:
11am – Community Singers
12pm – “JAG” (Just Another Group”)
3pm – The Erwins
6pm – Spectacular fireworks show

Details: There will be free activities for everyone and note that there will be train and trolley rides, and visits with Santa every Thursday through Saturday 5PM – 9PM through December 18. Santa must have the elves on double time so he can have time with us! Hmmm, I wonder where he’s staying while he’s in town?
